Abstract—Noise pollution is excessive, displeasing human, animal or machine-created environmental noise that disrupts the activity or balance of human life. Unplanned development, lack of management at squares and sudden increase in the number of vehicles in Indore city, has led to major traffic mismanagement. Continuous exposure to noise may lead to temporary or permanent hearing loss. In addition, it may also induce other temporary or permanent physiological effects.
